George Smart Papers, 1959-2002 [manuscript]

The George Smart Papers, 1959-2002, document the professional activities of George McCollum Smart and his architectural firm. George McCollum Smart (1931-2003) was an architect based in Raleigh, North Carolina from the early 1960s to 2002. Smart was born in South Carolina and attended high school in Virginia. He received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Randolph-Macon College in 1952 and a Bachelor of Architecture from North Carolina State College in 1959.
